Coffee is one of the things our family has always loved. There’s nothing like a warm cup to start the day, but for us, it has always been more than that. It was about Connection. Conversation. Comfort. Coffee time meant mornings with Julia, laughing at the kitchen table before she rushed off to school or work. It was late-night talks over a shared pot, and for her siblings, it was the thing that always brought them all together, no matter how busy life became.

Julia had a fire in her. She was vibrant, bold, and never afraid to speak her truth. She challenged us. She lit up every room she entered. As she grew older, she didn’t just drink coffee – she made it an experience. We all remember her favorite roasts, her order at every café, and the joy she brought to the simplest things. That’s why, when we lost her, we knew we had to do something that reflected her spirit and the love we all still carry for her.

It was August last year when Julia was involved in a minor accident, the kind that happens every day. She pulled safely to the side of the highway and, being responsible and calm as always, called 911 for help. But while she was waiting and speaking to the dispatcher, a truck hit her. In an instant, she was gone.

Losing Julia in that way—so sudden, so unfair, left a hole in our lives that can never be filled. But together, as her family we made a choice: to channel our pain into purpose.

That’s how JWG Coffee was born, 

And Julia is going to “LOVE THAT FOR US” (her saying about everything.)

This coffee company is more than a tribute. It’s a mission! Every bag we roast, every cup poured, carries Julia’s energy—her love of life, her warmth, and her fight to make things better. Just like Julia always stood up for what mattered.

JWG Coffee, raises awareness about the dangers of being on the roadside at night, in the hope that no other family has to suffer this kind of loss.

With every purchase, a portion goes to the charities that meant the world to her. Her story continues with us – and through this coffee, she keeps making life better for others.
